Tom Theodore

Tom Theodore, current Chair of the Select Board, is announcing

his candidacy for a 3rd term.Tom has proudly served on the

Select Board for 6 years, bringing dedication and commitment

to his hometown of Canton. A lifelong resident of Canton, Tom

attended Canton High School and earned his degree from the

New England Institute of Mortuary Sciences at Mt. Ida College.

Tom currently serves as a Funeral Director at the Dockray and

Thomas Funeral Home while also managing his own small business.

 

Tom’s involvement in the community extends far beyond the Select Board. He has contributed histime and effort to various organizations; including the Parks and Recreation Commission,Pequitside Task Force, and the Finance Committee. Currently, he has an active role on the Canton Community Preservation Committee, Traffic Committee, and Reservoir Pond AdvisoryCommittee.

 

Throughout his tenure, Tom has collaborated closely with town departments and citizens to address various issues facing Canton. In addition to his roles on different committees, Tom proudly supports local initiatives such as The Canton Historical Society, Friends of the Canton Public Library, and the Friends of Blue Hills. Tom’s principles revolve around hard work, accessibility, and advocating for the best interests of Canton and its residents.
