Mike Loughran
Mike Loughran announces his campaign for
re-election to Select Board.
Mike Loughran, the current Select Board clerk, is happy to
announce that he is seeking re-election to the Select Board
in the upcoming election.

Born and raised in Canton and a product of our great school system, Loughran graduated from Bridgewater State University with a degree in Business management. He worked for a division of Intel managing North American Operations before he decided to re-invent himself and go into business for himself, opening M&M Driving School in Canton.

Loughran has been an active member in the community for years. He first served on both the JFK and GMS school councils before serving on Canton’s Finance Committee. He served two terms on the school committee before deciding to run for the Select Board.

Loughran has been dedicated to youth sports and improving our fields and open spaces. He has worked in partnership with others to get lights at Walsh and (hopefully) Gibson fields, batting cages, dugouts, scoreboards and of course, the JFK snack shack/bathroom project.

He is excited to work on the Galvin Middle School project, the repurposing of the former St. Gerard’s property, as well as revitalizing our downtown.
Mike is a tireless and dedicated community leader that has worked for years with various groups and government boards to get projects done that benefit our community. He is honest, hard-working, and is committed to serve the residents of Canton so it can continue to be the great town that he loves.
He is asking for your vote on April 2nd so that he may continue to work with the residents of Canton, fellow boards and town leaders on the common goal of moving Canton into the future, a community we can all be proud of.
