Kathy McCormack
My name is Kathy McCormack and I’d like to say Hello and introduce myself to those that don’t know me. I am a lifelong resident of Canton and raised my two children here. I have contributed my time over the years to help make Canton a great place to live. I am a current member of both the planning board and traffic committee and am running for reelection to the 5 year planning board term.

I have always based my decisions on the planning board on what I believe to be in the best interests of the town, Canton citizens and individual neighborhoods and will continue to do so if you vote for me. When neighborhoods come to voice their concerns I often accompany them to the ZBA hearing that follows the planning board hearing. As an example I voted no on The Rottenberg Center’s request to expand their parking lot and take down a couple of acres of trees which would have lessened the buffer zone between them and the abutting neighborhood. I then followed up by going to the ZBA hearing the following night. I have done this on a number of occasions.

And now just a little bit of my background, I have worked in the HVAC industry for 40 years as an administrative secretary, assistant project manager and now an accountant. I have taken about twenty courses at Stonehill College but do not have a degree. I have also taken some blue print reading and HVAC courses at BHRS and Massasoit Community College.

Please consider me for your vote for the 5 year planning board term, you will not be disappointed – thank you!
